At Graceful Touch, our goal is to ease the birthing process through holistic approaches. We provide physical and emotional support to aide as laboring progresses. The methods that Graceful Touch gives are non-pharmaceutical techniques that strive to relieve pain, help speed up the delivery, and make the labor an easier experience. Studies have shown that having a doula present during birth makes for a positive outcome without the use of pain-relief medications and the need for a cesarean birth. Other research has found that doula-assisted mothers were four times less likely to have a low birth weight baby and two times less likely to experience a birth complication involving themselves or their baby. Whether you want someone there to help with different positions, guiding the father on what placements to help with easing discomfort, or someone to simply grab some cool towels for you, Graceful Touch is here to do just that for you and stay in close proximity during the labor process.
